After Landmarks, I felt grateful for what I’d made. But not long after, my sense of direction shifted.
I let go of an album and started over. I made another one and left it unheard. not because it wasn’t finished, but because it felt different. Brighter. More open. I loved making it, and that scared me.
I was afraid of rejection.
Afraid of being misunderstood.
Afraid of being told to stay the version of myself I’d already outgrown.
For a while, I mistook silence for staying true. In reality, I was hiding from critique.
This next chapter is about trusting that feeling again.
Letting the music exist without guilt.
This is my leap of faith.

Personal Profile
Hailing from Amsterdam, Edlan has been a driving force in the liquid drum & bass scene since his emergence in 2016. With a signature sound that blends atmospheric melodies and soulful rhythms, he's captivated audiences worldwide. His standout tracks, including "Dreamcatcher," "Whatever You Said," and "Shadow" featuring Emy Perez, have garnered millions of streams and solidified his place in the genre.
Edlan's debut album, Landmarks (2021), released on Liquicity, offers a sonic journey inspired by his travels across Europe and the USA. The album showcases his versatility, weaving together elements of drum & bass with influences from ambient and electronic music.
Beyond his solo work, Edlan has collaborated with notable artists like Bert H on "Intercept" and Smote on "The Way of Time," further demonstrating his ability to fuse different styles seamlessly.
In 2022, Edlan launched his own label, ATNMY, which provided a platform for his creative freedom and supported emerging talents in the scene. Releases like the Pathways EP and collaborations such as "Feel Again" with Cooper Stites highlight his commitment to pushing the boundaries of drum and bass.
Looking ahead, Edlan is set to release more music on Liquicity and is working on an upcoming album that delves deeper into songwriting and emotional expression, moving beyond traditional liquid D&B sounds.
Edlan's performances are more than just DJ sets; they're immersive experiences that forge deep emotional connections with the audience while keeping the energy high on the dance floor. Having graced stages at major festivals like Liquicity Festival and Rampage Open Air, he's proven his ability to resonate with diverse crowds.
